Welcome to 8th Grade!
We’re excited to kick off this milestone year for our Weston Middle School 8th graders and their families! The final year of middle school is filled with learning, friendships, and memorable experiences as our students prepare for the transition to high school.
Throughout the year, the PTO will share updates on special events, important dates, and opportunities to celebrate the Class of 2030. From social gatherings and community projects to the 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony, there will be many ways for students and families to get involved.

Important Upcoming Dates
- January 15, 2026: 8th grade students visit Weston High School during Periods 6 & 7
- January 26, 2026: Classroom presentation for 8th graders with Mrs. Ogden
- February 4, 2026: 8th Grade Transition Presentation at 7 p.m for students and their parents/guardians
- February 13, 2026 at 3pm: PowerSchool Course Selection Portal opens
- February 23 - March 6, 2026: Individual student meetings with Mrs. Ogden
- March 6, 2026: PowerSchool Course Selection Portal closes
- March 27, 2026: No further changes to student course requests after this date
