Dear WMS Families,
Welcome back to another school year! We hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer, filled with relaxation and fun.
As we dive into the school year, we want to remind you of the incredible impact your involvement with the PTO can have. There are new tiers for membership this year, please look them over and decide which works best for your family.
Before school even started your PTO volunteers made some magic. Thank you Shannon Seymour-Michl and Jesse Shafer, our 6th grade chairs, for planning and running the 6th grade ice cream social on Monday. Thank you Ellen Nakamura for planning the Staff Back-to-School Luncheon. The entire team enjoyed sandwiches and salads to fuel their day of prep before the students arrived.
This year, we have an exciting project on our radar: updating the teachers’ lounge! Our teachers work tirelessly and deserve a space where they can recharge and relax. We’re planning to give their lounge a much-needed makeover, and we need your help to make this vision a reality. Please consider donating to the Teacher's Lounge when you sign up to join the PTO.
Our FIRST PTO meeting will be THURSDAY, SEP 12th at 9:30AM in the Think Tank. Principal Doak will be speaking and we will be joined by Superintendent Barbiero. We hope you can join us! Coffee will be served.
